Iosif Iser - figure paintings

Iosif Iser was born in Bucharest in 1881 and died at the age of 77 in the same city was a Romanian painter and graphic artist. He studied in both Munich and Paris. He returned to Romania and drew caricatures for socialist newspapers Facla and Adevărul. He made two major series of paintings one on Dobrujan themes and Tartar portraits and one on Harlequins.
