A former student of the Regional School of Fine Arts in Rennes , Emmanuel Fougerat studied in the studio of Albert Maignan and that of Jean-Paul Laurens in Paris. He was appointed director of the Ecole Superieure des beaux-arts de Nantes. The Photo is of the women's class.
