Charles-Ange Boily - Dessein - Human Proportions

Charles-Ange Boily published a book about drawing titled Dessein with 2 double page plates and 10 single page plates in 1763. I am not entirely sure, but I think this was part of the Encyclopédie, ou, Dictionnaire universel raisonné des connoissances humaines By Denis Diderot, Fortuné Barthélemy de Félice.

These illustrations derive from Gerard Audran's work.
