I found these images on a site by a London dealer in Japanese Prints, Richard Kruml-Ukiyo-e.They are by the shin hanga artist Hashiguchi Goyo. He was celebrated as a woodblock printmaker of bijin-ga, or beautiful women.
He prepared to make his prints by making pencil studies, two of which are shown here.
