Irene Patten was an illustrator working around the mid century. She worked in a variety of genres including pictures of children, glamour girls and pin-ups. She is another of the few women working in the field like Zoe Mozert and Cecile Hardy who wrote a how to book.

Hello, I know this is an old post, but I thought you might want to know that Irene Patten died in either December of 1939 or January o 1940. I have a letter written by a friend of hers (Irene was her art instructor in pastels.) and she mentions it in the letter.
